In the summer of 2010 I had an experience that saddend, concerned, and angered me. I had a high school aged young man work with me over the summer and while we were engaged in conversasion about our two different churches we attend, I discovered that this young man went with his family to one of our areas largest churches. I asked him about their praise and worship service and he said it was great and that he really enjoyed it. I asked him how his parents and younger brother liked it and he said that his parents are in their service and his brother is in his own as well. I asked him to explain what he meant. He explained that in their church the adults have their own service, the high schoolers have theirs and the middle schoolers have there own and so on. I asked him if was telling me that his family doesn't worship together. He said emphatically "NO". He began to explain to me that his church decided that everyone needed to be able to identify themselves with their own age groups to discover what they like in praise & worship and what it means to them.

Believers, I declare to you today that this is satan poking his head into a place he has no business. God is interested in the family. The family was God's desine and God intends for us to worship together with our families. It will be over my dead body if anyone ever tells me that my children don't need to be beside me in worship. We are supposed to worship as a family. Children learn by seeing their parents worship. The worst part of this whole sad situation is not that satan is attacking, but that the "Pastor" of this flock has been decieved by this ploy of the enemy and the whole congregation of 1200 are accepting it as okay. Where is Christian America. Where are the Bible thinkers. Where are the worshipers that God is seeking after. Church, it is time to get it right. Fathers, take your stand and declare that "as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." and that includes worshiping together as a family. Satan has already taken the family worship out of the believers home and now he is trying to take it out of the church. When was the last time you heard of a christian family having evening praise & worship together in their home.

Don't think that this growing trend of traditional vs. contemporary whorship is a good thing. We, the church, are not hear to conform to this world. We are here, as Christ was, to save the world from it's master. Just as we are warned not to alter the Word of God, we must be careful what we allow in our churches as praise & worship. I asked this young man another question about his praise & worship and it was about the type of worship songs they used in "his" worship service. He said that they rock out with toby mac, third day, and others awesome bands like that. Then I asked him what creates the atmosphere of worship. He said "we have a great time"

This young man had no idea of what I was speaking when I tried to ask him about entering into the presence of the Holy Spirit and standing in awe of the King of kings and Lord of lords. Feeling His might power and witnessing His Glory in worship.

God is getting ready to shake what can be shaken. Are we rooted and grounded. Are we following God's plan. Are we Bible thinkers and studiers. Are we praying for the church. Jesus said, "I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." Are we in that kind of place? That kind of church setting in america?

Broadcast worship services of true worshipers seeking God's face. Show christian america how it is done because I fear that we have lost our way.

Love your Web Site so far. (Blessed should be Bless). My husband and I do the Praise and Worship at a small Church. This will be helpful to maybe find musicians. I struggle to try and keep the "gospel" feel of music with the new Praise and Worship chourses. The concept of "Praise & Worship Music" is so real to me now. For I want to Praise Him! Don't forget about Hymns.God Bless you in this internet work. I pray that it touches many souls.

I think this is awesome, my wife & I play in a Praise & Worship band we just love the Lord and will give him praise in every way we can

I have some songs with cords that people can log on and get a copy of some great songs.

With the posting of songs you can place them in categories, for example you can use alphabetical categories where all
songs starting with "A" would be located under the "A" Category and so forth.

You can then have a cross reference to the video if there is one available.
You may also do a categorized video database as well where the videos are found by alphabetical categories.

Can we become a regular member of the Praise and worship site...???

I would like to post some songs with chords for future reference for the younger generations...

So, the other praise sites will supply the needs such as concert tickets on praisetickets.com and so forth?
Like praisevideos.com will have the videos so this site needs to be unique to the name praiseandworship.com
I am guessing it needs to help the churches with music and materials that will give them tools to lead people to Christ.
